Oh say can you see, by the con's early lies
What so blindly we sail, as the children lie screaming
Who's blood stripes and fright scars
thru' the hideous night
Oe'r the sofa we watched
while we hoped we were dreaming
And the TV's dead glare
the bombs bursting in air
gave proof through our sight
Cnn was still there
O say does that war wrangled media yet rave
Oe'r the mind of the free
and the brain of the slave.
